Frank Brückner was born and raised in Germany, and  studied acting at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria.

He starred in a number of acclaimed theater, film and television productions, including Killer Joe (Germany), Sobre El Arcoiris(Spain/Germany), Fremde Heimat (Germany) Kinderwald (USA) and Snaeland (USA/Iceland).

As a voiceover artist Frank has performed in radio plays and features for DeutschlandFunk, WDR, BR, and others, as well as voiced characters in videogames (Halo Wars, Red Dead Redemption 2), animated series (Caillou,Kyle's Wild World ) and numerous international commercials.

Frank is a dual citizen (Germany/US) and lived and worked in the US for twelve years before moving to Canada in 2021. 

He is occasionally still a punk rock musician, and he performs an acoustic version of his original song Egal in the closing credits of Snaeland.
